A Memory That Stands Out Today Today my facebook memory popped up with a post from my wife that she made a year ago. In all honesty it made me cry... but cry happy tears because as I read it I instantly remembered and reflected on the amazing things God has done in my life...so I wanted to repost it on my blog as a way to celebrate God's faithfulness. I hope it brings encouragement.

Day 59 Update on My Guy! YOU GUYS - NICK WALKED TODAY!!! During physical therapy this afternoon, he took 10 steps with a walker! It was incredible to see. He got a little lightheaded, but not nearly as bad as before. His blood pressure used to drop into the 70s during movement, but today it only dipped to the 90s - huge progress!Earlier in the day, he also had occupational therapy and was able to sit up during both that session and again when the nurse got him up around midday. Just a few weeks ago, those things weren't even on the radar - God is truly answering prayers.Even better - Nick is continuing to eat consistently, and the case manager has added a note to his chart that he's eating and gaining weight - which is one of the major requirements for being transferred to a rehab center. This is another big answer to prayer!

Please continue to pray: For his orthostatic hypotension to fully resolveFor increased tolerance and strength during physical therapyThat when the application is resubmitted for Valley Rehab, it includes everything needed - and that it's approved quickly and without issue We are so grateful for each and every one of you - your prayers, encouragement, and support mean more than we can say. One day at a time, and today was a very good day. God is moving. Please keep praying!
